I enjoyed my stay with my family during Christmas festivities. The breakfast was good and accommodating enough for my family to join us without hassle. The location allowed us to explore the shops easily, and the car park was convenient. The room had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

There was some noise from the main street at night. The bathroom could have used better maintenance as I noticed a few issues with the shower.

everyone in the hotel was super friendly and they really wanted me to have a good time. the bar had good prices on beer and it was at a perfect temp. the food was amazin and even when they said it was takin too long, they got me another beer, which was nice. really good value for money overall, i'd highly recommend the place!

The receptionist was very accommodating and made sure we got the room we requested. The newly assigned room had plenty of natural light which made our stay more enjoyable.

Initially, my requested room with a seating area was unavailable upon arrival.

i had a lovely stay at the golden lion. the staff were super friendly and helped me use their car park on checkout day. it's located right on the high street, making it easy to explore local shops. i really appreciated the nice ambiance, definitely a charming place.
